This temperature must not be exceeded because there is a risk that the chrome layer will be damaged. And after the welding operation is finished, the cooling is carried out under supervision, as slowly as possible, to avoid the appearance of cracks in the material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Corrosion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mild steel square bar class 42CrMo4has poor corrosion resistance and will eventually rust if not properly treated.
