Industrial metal halls are usually designed to offer large open areas. With a few internal structural pillars<\/a>, thus offering maximum flexibility in use and freedom of movement of machinery within the building. These structures are very flexible, so as to combine the needs of work with those of representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steel<\/a> has an important market share in this sector. The great diversity of the domains in which metal halls are used and the conditions they must meet, leads to types of halls with very varied shapes and compositions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carbon steel is obtained from cast iron, through steelmaking processes, through refining. And it contains various amounts of accompanying elements, such as: silicon, manganese, phosphorus, copper, nickel, chromium, introduced at the time of steel production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another characteristic of the use of steels in metal constructions is the predominant use of tempered steels. It withstands high demands and can be welded without producing cracks in the weld area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carbon steels used in metal constructions do not exceed 0.2 – 0.25% carbon. They have a relatively convenient elongation and good weldability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
