Une organisation environnementale norv\u00e9gienne ax\u00e9e sur la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. Elle a accord\u00e9 une interview \u00e0 EURACTIV (un r\u00e9seau de portails d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux affaires europ\u00e9ennes, dont le si\u00e8ge est \u00e0 Bruxelles) en marge d&#8217;un voyage de presse financ\u00e9 par Gassnova. Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une entreprise d&#8217;\u00c9tat norv\u00e9gienne qui soutient le d\u00e9veloppement des technologies CSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Captage et stockage du l&#8217;acier continueront \u00e9mettre CO2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le captage et le stockage du carbone (CSC) est une technologie qui capte jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 90 % des \u00e9missions de dioxyde de carbone (CO2). G\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par l\u2019utilisation de combustibles fossiles dans la production d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Et dans les processus industriels, emp\u00eacher le dioxyde de carbone de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La plupart des ONG environnementales sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement sceptiques. S&#8217;ils ne s&#8217;opposent pas vraiment au CCS, Zero semble \u00eatre une exception notable. Pourquoi donc?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous consid\u00e9rons le captage et le stockage du carbone comme un \u00e9l\u00e9ment de la solution pour lutter contre le r\u00e9chauffement climatique, afin de garantir que nous restons en dessous de 2\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Les \u00e9missions des industries comme le ciment, l\u2019acier, l\u2019aluminium, l\u2019\u00e9thanol, etc. devraient \u00eatre r\u00e9duites. Nous devons \u00e9galement prendre soin de nos d\u00e9chets. Ils produisent des quantit\u00e9s consid\u00e9rables de dioxyde de carbone lorsqu\u2019ils sont br\u00fbl\u00e9s pour r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer de l\u2019\u00e9nergie. Et ces \u00e9missions ne font qu\u2019augmenter \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tous ces secteurs continueront \u00e0 \u00e9mettre du CO2, m\u00eame si l&#8217;utilisation des \u00e9nergies renouvelables par l&#8217;industrie se fait \u00e0 100 %. La seule mani\u00e8re de lutter contre ces \u00e9missions est le CSC. Il s\u2019agit donc d\u2019un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important de la lutte contre le r\u00e9chauffement climatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et nous n\u2019avons pas le temps d\u2019attendre l\u2019apparition d\u2019autres technologies, cela pourrait donc \u00eatre notre derni\u00e8re chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Pourquoi le CCS est-il le seul moyen ? Les \u00e9nergies renouvelables ne peuvent-elles pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9nergies renouvelables sont utilis\u00e9es pour le chauffage et l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 dans ces industries, et les efforts doivent se poursuivre pour installer des \u00e9nergies renouvelables dans les usines respectives \u00e0 une plus grande \u00e9chelle qu&#8217;aujourd&#8217;hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais le processus industriel lui-m\u00eame \u2013 par exemple la mani\u00e8re dont le ciment est produit \u2013 continuera \u00e0 \u00e9mettre des gaz, quelle que soit l\u2019\u00e9nergie utilis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ainsi, le processus chimique lui-m\u00eame produit des \u00e9missions de CO2.
