A 66. emeleten az \u00e9szakkeleti \u00e9s d\u00e9lnyugati, a 90. emeleten pedig az \u00e9szaki, keleti \u00e9s d\u00e9li fel\u0151l \u00e9rkez\u0151k \u00e1llnak meg. A k\u00f6z\u00e9ps\u0151 \u00e9s nyugati \u00e9p\u00edtm\u00e9nyek a 108. emeletig folytat\u00f3dnak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Willis-torony volt az els\u0151 olyan \u00e9p\u00fclet, amely a Khan \u00e1ltal feltal\u00e1lt <strong>cs\u0151szerkezetet alkalmazta<\/strong>. Az innovat\u00edv kialak\u00edt\u00e1s szerkezetileg \u00e9s gazdas\u00e1gilag hat\u00e9kony volt, t\u00f6bb helyet k\u00edn\u00e1lt, \u00e9s magasabb is lehetett, mint az Empire State Building. A k\u00f6lts\u00e9gek is alacsonyabbak voltak. Ez a szerkezeti rendszer rendk\u00edv\u00fcl befoly\u00e1sosnak bizonyult a felh\u0151karcol\u00f3k \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9ben.
