Our company’s reputation has been built over time, with much effort of the management and employees.
To maintain our inner peace and the reputation of H Metal, we assume and are guided by a few simple rules:
ANTI-BRIBERY AND ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY
Zero tolerance for bribes
In our company, we have zero tolerance for bribes. This is due to the values and moral principles that guide our lives. The management and employees of H Metal do not offer and do not promise, directly or indirectly, any material or other benefit to any decision-maker to do or not do something for which we obtain a benefit.
Also, the management and employees of H Metal do not accept to receive material or other benefits to do or not do something related to the job duties.
Conflict of interests
The management and employees of H Metal shall avoid engaging in activities that could damage the company’s reputation or suggest a potential conflict of interests.
The conflict of interests arises when a person in management or an employee of H Metal may be influenced by an illegal personal material interest, directly or indirectly, as regards a personal decision or the objective carrying out of job duties.
The management and employees of H Metal do not offer valuables to the representatives of our business partners. We do not promise or offer gifts, benefits, cash, or in-kind benefits in business relationships. Also, we do not receive any undue benefits from business partners.
Sponsorships and donations
The management and the employees of H Metal shall not make sponsorships, donations, charity for other organizations associated to a political entity or public officer.
H Metal does not engage in the financing of political parties or political structures.
POLICY AGAINST MONEY LAUDERING AND FINANCING OF TERRORISM ACTS
H Metal is in alignment with the highest standards against money laundering and financing of terrorism. We assume to comply with all the laws on the prevention and fight against money laundering a financing of terrorism acts. We aim to develop business relationships only with the clients who have good reputation, who are involved in legitimate business.
POLICY ON COMPETITION
H Metal carries out its commercial activity using legal business practices and it is a follower of open competition. The management and the employees of H Metal shall not take any action meant to denigrate competition or to obtain/provide confidential information to create an undeserved, immoral, and illegal advantage.
The management and the employees of H Metal shall not denigrate any competitor, their products, or services. Also, they shall not denigrate the management or employees of the competitors.
The management and the employees of H Metal shall never attempt to obtain confidential information on the conduct of business of its competitors.
H Metal employees are forbidden from providing confidential information about the conduct of H Metal’s commercial activity.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
According to the moral principles and legal provisions, the management and the employees of H Metal have the obligation to comply with the privacy and security of the processing the personal data of everyone. They also have the obligation to manage in safe conditions the databases created for the fulfillment of their legal duties and to ensure to the registered persons the rights provided in the national and European legislation.
SETTLEMENT OF UNCLEARIAL SITUATIONS
When we are not sure of the decision we are going to make, we adopt the principle of the proverb:
“DON’T DO TO OTHERS WHAT YOU DON’T WANT TO BE DONE TO YOU”
To take an ethically and morally correct decision, we put ourselves in the place of the other person, of the person who could be affected by our decision/action. If from this position things do not look good, then we make the decision that we would like to be made for us.
