Round steel, also known as round bar, full round or round profile.
It may be manufactured in two variants:
- hot-rolled round steel, generally used in metallic works and constructions, with higher manufacturing tolerances;
- cold drawn steel which is generally used for the execution of precision parts, with tolerances to very small design sizes
Round steel for general use in various structural applications and industrial maintenance repairs.
It is available in a wide range of sizes. Characterized by tight tolerance, excellent linearity and low decarburation. This makes it ideal for forging. It is a material easy to weld through all welding processes and the resulting welds are of extremely high quality. It can also be easily processed by cutting.
